Come join Lakeside Presbyterian Church at our Lessons and Carols service December 15th, 6:30pm. Congregation, Choir, and Orchestra will join voices and sounds to sing traditional carols beloved by millions around the globe. All ages are invited and welcomed to come
Inspired by the horrors of World War One, Rev. Eric Milner-White designed this service to help returning soldier, now students at King's College, cope with the tragedies they experienced. More information about the entire service and history is explained beautifully by James Manley.
The choir plays a vital role in leading the congregation in the carols. While the majority of the music is exactly the same for Choir and Congregant, there are moments where the choir gets to add a special moment. Participation in the choir is open to all believers of like faith with a love and talent for singing. We will have three rehearsals (November 6th, November 13th, and December 11th 6:30 - 8:30) and one dress rehearsal (December 15th, 3:00pm). If you are interested in participating, please plan on attending at least two rehearsals and the dress. Choir is open to ages 12 and up.
