Pastor David Boxerman has been here 19 years as the Pastor of Lakeside. He was instrumental in three church plants during sixteen years of pastoral ministry in Central Florida prior to being called by Lakeside in 1997. Pastor Boxerman was converted to faith in Jesus Christ at age 23 from a religious upbringing in Reform Judaism. He earned a BS in Secondary Education (Phys. Ed.) from the University of Missouri and received his Master of Divinity degree in 1981 from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO.

Pastor Dave's wife, Donna Joy grew up in Mesa, AZ and is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Masters Degree in Math. She was converted to faith in Christ through the ministry of the Church of the Redeemer, which is where Dave and Donna Joy met. DJ homeschooled all four of the Boxerman children K through high school graduation. She teaches at the Center for Home Education and also has an extensive math tutoring roster.

Pastor Dave and Donna Joy have celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary; God has blessed them with four spectacular children and two grandchildren!

  • Tabitha Joy Columbare (with Ryan Columbare) - Now married over a year. Ryan is an upper tier trumpet player in the U.S. Army Band and he is stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas, where the newlyweds are settling into their new base housing. Tabitha is a graduate of Texas Women's University (Summa cum laude) and has earned her Master's Degree in Piano Performance and Music Pedagogy from Eastman School of Music and just completed her Doctoral Degree at Eastman.

  • Ariel Joy Bealer (with Matthew Bealer) - Ariel and her husband, Matthew, are both graduates of Ouachita Baptist University. Matthew completed seven years of service in the National Guard, which included a tour of duty in Iraq. The Bealers are leading the Lakeside Youth Groups. Matt has secured a restaurant job and is on the managerial track. Ariel is in her third year teaching First Grade at Midway Park Elementary School in Bedford.

  • Lydia-Marie Standley (with Zachery Standley, Ella, and Titus) - Lydia and her husband, Zach, welcomed their second child into the world last year on Dec. 27, 2015: Titus Mack Standley. The Standleys are both graduates of East Texas Baptist University. Lydia finished her teaching at Bluebonnet Elementary School in Keller and is now a full time stay-at-home Mom. Zach is an air flight dispatcher for Southwest Airlines.

  • John-David - John-David jumped from some time at Tarrant County College into a position with Kroger Grocery. He has been part of several mission teams from Lakeside including ministering in Dalton, GA and Belize. JD shares his Dad's passion for Jesus...and the Rangers!
